Tours Nazare Obidos – Nazaré is a portuguese village in the west region of Portugal, district of Leiria. As a typical fishermen village and facing the Atlantic, this village has a long half-moon shaped beach with a white thin sand.

Nazaré became an international touristic point of interest due to its strong fishing tradition, typical customs and the Legend of Senhora da Nazaré. Plus, But Nazaré is not just about fishing. The Guinness World Record of the highest wave ever surfed was broken here in 2011 by Garett McNamara, who surfed a 30 meters wave at Praia do Norte. This made this village even more attractive to tourists, especially for foreign surfers.

Óbidos is one of the most picturesque villages in Portugal. Surrounded by castle walls built by the Moorish, with a well-preserved castle and charming narrow streets, this village takes us to the medieval times in a blink of an eye.

The castle of Óbidos was considered in 2007 as one of the seven monuments more relevant of the architectural Portuguese heritage. It is also considered by UNESCO as a Literature Creative City since 2015. Its history is remembered every year with a medieval festival taking place inside the castle walls. There are other events that bring life and color to this village with white houses, such as the Chocolat and Christmas Festivals.

The Caldeira de Peixe overlooking the Óbidos Lagoon is a must stop when visiting this village.
